Ronald Briggs, Jr.

Ron started in the business as a Life Insurance Agent the day he turned 18 on January 31st, 1984. He has held the following securities licenses: 6, 63, 26 and continues to hold, Life & Health and the Series 65. Still to this day, he works personally with his long term established clients providing wealth management and embraces technology to provide an objective, comprehensive and dynamic view of their financial status

His first 12 years were spent as a Financial Advisor with a 125-year-old Fraternal Insurance Organization; the next 5 years were in the capacity of a Regional Vice President of Michigan, building and maintaining the number one region in the country.  In 2001 he decided to join his wife Kristin, with her retirement planning firm, established in 1992, called Money Strategies of Michigan.

They soon saw a need to add a key element to their current practice as they prepared to expand. They were seeking a better risk adjusted asset management system for their clients, inside of a “Fiduciary” model! Ron saw the need to create a much better path for all Advisors and their clients, “My vision quickly evolved with the desire to build a national RIA model all Advisors would be attracted to for themselves and their clients”.

In late December 2010, Ron and Kristin launched their first RIA which has
grown substantially over the years as a SEC Firm and still growing today.

That was the springboard to Ron and Kristin also launching several other companies such as an insurance marketing organization, a pure digital marketing (print and online) company, a compliance company, a Third-party investment Advisor and TAMP provider, and more all under one umbrella.

Grass does not grow under Ron’s feet and his latest venture is to be part of growing POM Wealth Management to a multi-billion AUM Firm. Bringing nearly 4 decades of experience, along with an amazing support Team and internal experts and proprietary brands and concepts to help POM exponentially grow!

With Roccy and Ron combing forces bringing their unique and diverse companies and Team members together will create a powerhouse Firm that advisors can embrace no matter what type of clients or marker they choose to serve. We call this the R2 effect. An RIA that truly puts the client’s interests first and seeks to deliver the best risk adjusted returns through the collaboration of its uniquely designed and trademarked multi-manager platform.
